Justin and Kimberly's paths crossed a time or two before they officially met. You see, they both grew up in Pittsburgh, attended college at Penn State University, and moved to Philadelphia upon graduation. Even with all of that criss-crossing, it wasn't until post college that a chance meeting finally brought them together across the state.
It should be noted that Kim didn't waste time on frivolous relationships, but she waited for that one truly special guy to come along. And once he did, there was no turning back. That special guy was certainly worth the wait and is described by his father-in-law as the 'consummate gentleman': nice, wonderful and humble.
One our favorite quotes from their day was from Justin's brother when he thanked Kim for being the sister he never had and added "I can see how amazed he is by you, and I think everyone at this party can see why."
Que the tears! And how true it is. Watching Justin and Kim interact, your heart will melt by the way the look at one another, laugh together, and interact in general.
Today marks the one year celebration of their wedding day at Kim's family farm - the magical setting for their "I Do's". This family farm is no ordinary farm, though. Owned and inspired by Kim's grandparents, it has evolved into a magical setting that has brought the family back for year round getaways - and become for many, a home away from home. Rolling hills, tennis courts, a swimming pool, an art studio on the hill and breathtaking gardens throughout are just a few of the extraordinary details that make this place so special. The history and scenery have made it an nostalgic, one of a kind place for the family to hold weddings. Their grandparents have truly created a legacy and it was a dream to celebrate Justin and Kimberly's love story in a place with so much history and character.
Years ago, Kim's parents happened to have had the fourth wedding on the farm. Fast forward a few years, and Kim and Justin became the 19th couple to have gotten married there. It is woven with tradition, and the whole family came together to make this a wedding to remember. Think: a tented reception, a live band, dancing underneath the stars, and so much love and joy oozing from every second. You can re-live the highlight from their magical celebration below. And we can assure you that you won't be able to wipe the smile off of your face.
Congratulations to this beautiful couple, on their first year of marriage! Happy Anniversary, Dr. and Mrs. Williams! <3
