Ashley & Bobby's is a love story that began on a blind date that almost didn't happen. But it was on that sunny, October Saturday that their lives as they knew them forever changed and they would soon discover that they had found their match. This was quickly confirmed by all who knew them - both in the way the light each other up when they are together, in how they talk about one another when they are apart and in one very specific and substantial change in Bobby.
Growing up, Bobby didn't have pets. He was not only not a dog lover, he actually made fun of those that would wake up to walk their pets in the wee hours of the morning on cold, frigid days. Thus, when he learned that Ashley had a dog, Bubba, whom she ADORED and had rescued years before, he was a bit apprehensive how he would do with the dog. Ashley was adamant that she and Bubba came as a packaged deal though, so Bobby had no choice but to quickly adapt. Bubba made it easy on him though, and Bobby not only evolved into a full blown dog lover, but those brisk, early morning walks become one of his favorite parts of the day. Those walks, and his beloved bride.
Since meeting them, we have not been able to stop gushing about the two of them, and the details of their out of this world celebration. Bumbleburgh Events did a tremendous job of bringing their soft and romantic vision to life as they ecstatically celebrated becoming husband and wife surrounded by their family and friends. Bobby & Ashley are profoundly loved and it is easy to see why. They share a presence that makes all those around them comfortable and at ease. They both light up a room with their gorgeous smiles and laughter. And they have THE most caring and generous hearts.
One of the priorities of their day was to give back to charity as much as possible. In leui of traditional favors, they made a donation to the Lawrence County Humane Society. They used One Hope for their wine selections, raising support for pet adoptions, ending childhood hunger, and saving the planet. AND they incorporated their own beloved rescue dog as the most fun reoccurring theme throughout the day, from the signature drink "The Bubba"! to the Cake Topper, to literally having Bubba IN the wedding as the Dog of Honor (and the most phenomenal, well behaved dog the world has ever seen!)
If it's even possible, this couple is as much fun as they are kind. The positive energy surrounding their day was palpable, and their wedding was a celebration no one ever wanted to end. Dancing, singing, laughter and loved filled the air as everyone danced the night away, and capped the wedding with s'mores and pizza. We are still pinching ourselves that this day, and this couple, are real. But as you'll see in the highlight from their wedding, they are the real deal.
Bobby & Ashley - the world is infinitely better because of the two of you, and we cannot wait to watch all the ways you continue to light it up as you journey together side by side as husband and wife!
