We may be headed to Florida here in a few short months, but we couldn't let this Hollywood-worthy wedding go undocumented! And, there are plenty of historic wedding venues in St. Augustine, Florida if you love this couple's fabulous style.
On December 20, 2010, Chase & Lindsey were in eighth grade. Chase was playing in a basketball game that night and he made a deal with Lindsey: If he dunked the ball, Lindsey had to be his girlfriend.
The opportunity for Chase to dunk presented itself, but unfortunately, he missed the basket. However, he used his sweet talking skills and still convinced Lindsey to start dating him. While he didn't make the shot, he still got the girl!
These two became a couple and never looked back: supporting each other through high school, college, and careers. They are both incredible athletes who ran track and played basketball (Lindsey often beating Chase in one on one ;). Chase went on to play basksetball at WVU where he planned early on in his college career that he would propose to Lindsey on his senior night.
He managed to keep this a surprise from her, and pulled off the most epic proposal, asking his best friend to be his wife in front of 16,000 people.
They planned a wedding day as spectacular as their love story. Think Hollywood glam, but with modern touches, all set to the iconic backdrop of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
They shared personal vows that left everyone with tears in their eyes and smiles on their faces. There was non-stop laughing, drinking, dancing. Lindsey and Chase had a live band, a cigar roller, an espresso martini ice sculpture luge, AND a confetti drop. It was certainly an affair to remember, as we got to celebrate the remarkable love story of an unparalleled couple.
