Ashley and Justin went to the same high school, but did not run in the same circle of friends. Over the years, they dated other people, and had completely separate lives. That is - until they reconnected a few years ago thanks to a popular dating app and hit it off immediately. They fell in love, become best friends very early on and have been practically inseparable ever since.
One of the first adventures in Justin & Jena's relationship was flipping their home together. For anyone that has done any home projects with their significant other, you understand the magnitude of this endeavor. But for these two, it only brought them closer. After two years together, Justin planned a romantic proposal for his favorite person. They went to dinner and ended the night on the rooftop of Justin's workplace in the North Shore. It was a Pittsburgh fireworks night, and while enjoying one of the best views in the city, Justin got down on one knee. Jena was ecstatic (and admits she knew it was coming).
They tied the knot a year later with an elegant wedding in the south hills of Pittsburgh. Every detail of the day was thoughtful and when you see it, will take your breath away. The elegance of the candlelight and lush white and green flowers were an idyllic backdrop for the emotional and romantic celebration. While the wedding was in late November, the weather was comfortable enough for portraits and the first look to be outside. Laughter, fun, and happy tears characterized every aspect of this dazzling day. The emotional first look, and the personal vows exchanged between the newlyweds are what wedding dreams are made of.
Jena and Justin are one heck of a phenomenal team. They make each other better, and that translates over to anyone who is fortunate enough to spend time with them. We couldn't be happier for this amazing pair and cannot wait to watch their story a million more times. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Lubbert!
