Logan first noticed Kyla outside their dorm at Covenant College. She was heading to volleyball practice with her teammates, and in that moment, it was as if the world blurred around her — he was captivated instantly. As fate would have it, they shared a Spanish class that semester, where Logan sat directly behind her. Despite the perfect opportunity to introduce himself, it took weeks — and a nudge from a mutual friend and future groomsman, Cameron — for Logan to work up the courage.

One evening, after some convincing from Cam, Logan finally introduced himself to Kyla in their dorm lobby… just as she took a huge bite of food. Her blank, chewing stare wasn’t exactly what he had envisioned, but it didn’t stop them from talking for hours that night. From that moment, Logan was all in. He knew Kyla could be the one, and he pursued her with intentionality and heart — even when she wasn’t quite sure at first.

With help from friends and a little creative persistence, he eventually won her over. One date turned into two, then three, and before long, they were inseparable. Over the next three years, their relationship deepened, rooted in love, laughter, and faith. Logan became part of Kyla’s family and cherished every moment of getting to know her more fully. Through it all, they remained grounded in their shared belief that God had brought them together — and they couldn’t wait to see how He would continue to write their story.
